So, where to begin.......
If this was a tribal Eldazi spell, it would be broken as hell.
Thank the mana gods it's not.
I'm on the fence with this one.
The most obvious is paying 6 mana for a mana accelerator....seems kind of contradictory.
That is until you see the "draw 3 cards" part.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this won't truly shine until the Fall block hits, when there will be more cards that interact with artifacts.
However, you need to look at this closely. This is solid card draw in a colorless source.
Granted it's initial cost is on the steep side (at 6), but it's draw cost is incredibly efficient for a colorless spell. I could see heavy green - ramp style decks giving this a try.
I don't see this being a format shaker, but rather a useful utility card that provides both sufficient mana and sufficient card draw.
A solid uncommon at best, but not of the caliber like Path to Exile and Everflowing Chalice.
Speaking of Everflowing Chalice......this may be a little better.
Thoughts?
